We are committed to driving innovation and making a meaningful impact in the field of antibiotic research.

Establishing a high-throughput screening method to analyze how chemical structures influence the accumulation of molecules within bacterial cells is crucial in the fight against drug-resistant bacterial infections. One of the primary challenges in treating these infections, especially those caused by diderm pathogens, is the bacteria's ability to prevent antibiotics from penetrating their defenses and reaching intracellular targets. This impermeability, largely due to the unique structure of their outer membranes, is a significant barrier to effective treatment.
